Nick’s New Year’s Resolution

Greetings yet again vapors, this is Nick from the Pantego location! The New Year is coming upon us faster than I ever imagined. It has been an interesting year to say the least. As the year draws to a close it is time to reflect and meditate on the successes, failures, love gained and love lost. Friends and coworkers have come and gone, and the world spins madly on to a new year filled with new experiences and new relationships. With the New Year come resolutions, a pact with oneself to ensure a better, more fulfilling existence within the next 365 days to come. I have thought long and hard about what resolutions I will make this year. I have combed over every aspect of my life and reached as deep as I could to find the changes I need to make in my life to guarantee that this year will be the best I could hope for.

I have decided on a resolution for this year. I resolve to get more involved in my music. I have spent the last 13 years building my skills as a musician. I play four instruments and I sing. I am currently in a band called Ceased To Be as the rhythm guitarist and vocalist. The band was started in December of 2015 and we have quickly become a tight knit group of likeminded musicians. Our styles all differ, yet we have found a common ground and through that have been able to give a sense of originality to our music that the industry seems to lack for the most part in this day and age. I have been extremely pleased with our progress and couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to share in this adventure with. My resolution for this year will be to continue to grow and learn together as a band. We have written and finished quite a few original songs together as well as an extensive cover library. We are currently working on getting our songs recorded and produced as well as setting up local gigs to play on the weekends. It is my resolution to accomplish these things and be able to share my music with the world.
