TJ’s New Year’s Resolution
This year’s resolution for me means more to me than the last few I’ve had in the past. There are a number of others I have wrote that dealt with someone else’s issues and my concern for them but this year I have a few these I want to have done before then end of the year.
First, I’d like to begin school and finish this year’s degree plan so I can prepare for grad school. I went a long time without having a job but in that time span I was staring up my personal business and was profiting on it consistently. My point is while being out of a real job I had time to focus on my studies and school and I want to get back to that soon. Also, I want to be able to maintain a job and a steady flow of money while focusing on school and getting things done. I found that 2016 is an opportunity year for me and I need to update to something bigger and better.
Second, I spent 2 ½ years personal training and getting my body ready to compete and the past few months I’ve slacked off a little to do work and school. I want to prioritize my workout schedule and get back to where I was when I was in my prime of 22 years old. I feel like since I noticed it early and I know what needs to be done I shouldn’t have a problem time managing me being at the gym. When I started personal training I put training before work, school, family and life in general and I did this because I believed in something and I stayed at it for as long as I wanted. As a formal trainer I know when dealing with clients one of the hardest things to do when you’re training to reach a goal in the gym is making time for workout while working or going to school. I didn’t have a problem with it before and I don’t want to have an issue with it now. Basically by sacrificing time spent going out or hanging with friends I want to come to the conclusion of prioritizing my schedule.
As the year comes to an end I meet face to face with my ultimate goal of prioritizing my time and my schedule to become the best me I can be as well as completing the important things.
